That’s why every gemstone and jewelry item includes a basic in-house certificate issued by our team. This document confirms the authenticity of the gemstone or the featured stone in your jewelry and outlines key characteristics such as weight, cut, and clarity.
Optional Certification – IGI or GIA
For those looking for an additional level of assurance, we offer optional certification by world-renowned gemological laboratories – GIA (Gemological Institute of America) and IGI (International Gemological Institute).
This service is available for an additional fee, based on the laboratory, gemstone type, and carat weight.
The process includes:
- Sending the gemstone or jewelry piece to the selected laboratory
- Certification by experts
- Safe return to Sosna Gems
Please allow approximately 30 days for this service due to shipping and processing time.
Already Certified Gemstones
Some of our gemstones already come with a valid external certificate from one of the major international gemological labs. These items are clearly marked and are ready to ship.
Certification Included in Price (Pending)
Certain gemstones or jewelry pieces include certification in the purchase price, but are still pending processing. These items will be sent for certification after purchase, so please allow for a longer delivery time (typically 3–4 weeks).
Jewelry Certification
We also offer certification for finished jewelry. This is especially useful for engagement rings, investment pieces, or custom designs.
- You will receive either an in-house certificate or may request an external lab certificate (IGI or GIA) for the center gemstone or full piece.
- This service ensures proper documentation for insurance, gifting, or resale purposes.
If you’d like your jewelry piece to be certified by an external lab, please contact us for a quote. The pricing depends on the type of stone and complexity of the piece.
