Handling

• Always handle gemstones with clean, dry hands or use soft gloves.
• Avoid touching the stone surface directly – oils and moisture from skin can affect the clarity or brilliance.
• If removal from the blister is necessary, use non-metal tweezers and place the stone on a soft, clean surface.

Storage

• Keep gemstones in their original blister packaging for optimal protection.
• If storing outside of the blister (e.g. for examination or certification), use a soft-lined box or individual gem containers to avoid contact and abrasion.
• Store in a dry, stable environment, away from direct sunlight, humidity, or rapid temperature changes.

Cleaning

• Most loose gemstones require minimal maintenance. If necessary, use a soft dry cloth to gently wipe the surface.
• Avoid soaking or brushing unless you are familiar with the specific gemstone’s properties. Porous or treated stones may be sensitive to moisture or chemicals.
